Promise from parents to a daughter.....

Seems like yesterday, kicking in my tummy all day,

We have together come a long way.

Fighting, arguing, pulling our hair,

We have done all that and been there.

I just want you to know that when you need us,

We will never fail to show.

Imbibe all these and you will shine and shimmer.

Wisdom, integrity, love, intellect and more

Use it well to take you to the shore.

With a smile, now cover that extra mile,

Whatever you deserve, may you get,

Nothing should you ever regret.

Ohhh!! I have left such a track!!

Believe in yourself and never give up,
