Peter Pan in Wonderland
Peter Pan in Wonderland
Chasing shadows, amidst chaos,
Peter, riding his albatross,
Domed with dust, at a cul-de-sac
Where he met a dwarf and fair jack
He looked behind the jack standing tall,
Trying to pass beyond fate’s wall
Sees aureate glitter under his hand,
A tiny portal, mirroring mighty wonderland
Mr Pan, tired of fancy folds,
Took a veiled glance, to what the oculus holds
However reluctant to cross the ether’s might,
Alice stopped by, chasing fables of night
Alice and Peter, their fingers entwined,
Eyes shut, traversing mazes of mind
Venturing through the orb of light,
Pan, a bit sweaty, Alice in delight
Peter’s soul, a peony untamed,
Alice’s heart, a kindling flame
Unveiling the veiled pixies and thwarts,
Heralds the bestowed Queen of hearts
The queen, reluctant of relinquishing throne,
Swore against pixies, beneath silken tones
Pixies, laced with cosmic glow,
Defeated the queen, narrow and shallow
Sworn in the throne’s solemn shadow,
Bound by duties and destiny’s show
Alice and Peter, break free from the shackle,
Chanting triumph’s breath in the quiet of a dreaded battle
