Pain Of An Angel
Pain Of An Angel
Mom! You said it!
On my town stay permit.
A day before I left for college
You brought these to my knowledge
How to manage and how to live
Whom to wait for and whom to believe
When to relax and when to call
I remember you preached it all.
The society is a modified forest
Inside all lies a beast unrest
Don't let any stranger come too closer
Never pay any heed to them, never
My angel! None helps you ever
Without a motive, they had for
Don't even in your dreams do engage
They may take that for an advantage
Mom! You have said it!
And I have obeyed every bit
But you never said ever
What tragedy could occur
In the guise of known faces
The malice of those having no traces
Camouflaged with their cordial frame
You're too innocent to reckon the flame
I have avoided all the strangers
Never allowed them to come closer
But all the pain that I suffer
Is given by our near and dears
Lying unmoved, all in my state of grey
I was just a puppet, a poor prey
And they enjoyed the ghastly feast
Mom! You couldn't have imagined it!
