Oh! My Dear Indian Train
Oh! My Dear Indian Train

Every single day in many a Indian train
The journey of a commoner is full of stress and strain
Pleasure is nowhere but the pain is now here
Ask many to adjust and extend for which no one would hear
It runs on one rule:
Once you step in you cannot step out
You are destined to witness hell inside out
Be early or be late
No savior can change your fate
Inside the train:
You can hardly place on floor both your feet
This celebration of suffocation is our everyday feat
Every little heart prays and says
Add a bogie, add a bogie
Add a bogie and keep on adding more
To transform someone’s horrible journey to be lovely travel for sure
Child in one hand and bag in the other
-center">Throughout the travel she must bother
Not just her but many like her my sister, brother and mother
Nowhere to sit and no way to stand
Plight of helplessness one cannot understand
Every time it stops just adds and stuffs more crowd
No one would get down but clog on both ends yell loud
Neither we neither breathe in nor breathe out even a little
Yet the vendors selling songs go on and on
Timings of various trains are unpredictable
Needs and urgencies of public are unimaginable
Facilitate every traveler in righteous manner
This reflects democracy in true color
Train every train to solace
Place every passenger in right place
Enhance and extend size and space
Kindly help mankind win every day race
