Nature's Plea
Nature's Plea
The azure brooks, the verdant pathway,
All destined to fade to ashen gray.
The thirst for hasty advancement,
Brought the world to its predicament.
The earth's fever burns, its plight acute,
And mother nature's beauty, rendered mute.
Can Swift development's heedless race,
Shield humanity from its own hasty chase?
The grand pledges, the global pacts,
By the great nations, their impact lacks.
Centuries of harm set to meet their end,
A swift halt we fervently intend.
Now the world rushes with zealous passion,
To utterly stop the mammoth emission.
It's still within reach, human's preservation,
In every individual's small contribution.
Now it's the moment to clear our sight,
To secure our tomorrow, act with might.
Let's take small steps individually thus,
To halt heat rise beyond 1.5 degree celsius.
