My Shirt

He smiles 

And I render him nothing. 

He oozes confidence 

And I smile silently. 

Yes, he is my shirt, 

So cosy, 

So selfless performer;

Carrying my sweat, 

He brings out the best 

From me at work place. 

May not I acquire applause, 

And get a trophy, 

But satisfaction 

Touches my inner soul.
