He never looks for praises

Not is the one to boast 

His dreams are seldom spoken 

And wants are very few 

And most of the time 

His worries will go unspoken too

A sturdy hand to hold onto 

In a time of stress and struggle 

A true friend we can turn to

In times good or bad 

That man is called a dad 

Your love was forever strong 

Your cuddles were forever tight 

Every day since I was born 

Your love was always in sight 

I will always be your baby girl 

And you will always be my dad 

I know I will always be the luckiest 

To have the best dad any girl could have 

My daddy, I love you with all my heart 

Much more than I ever say 

You are my world, my everything.

It would be the greatest ever told 

I'd write about my daddy 

For he had a heart of gold 

My dad was no hero 

Known around this world 

He was everything to me 

Cause I was his baby girl 

I'd write about the lessons 

He taught me right from wrong 

He instilled in me values 

That one day I'll be strong 

He taught me to face my fears 

Take each day as it comes

Cause there are things that we can change

He would say that what's done is done!

He tells hold your head up high 

Carry yourself with pride 

Thanks to him that I am somebody 

I always wanted to be 

Who will never run and hide 

If I could write a story

it would be the greatest ever told 

It would be about my daddy
