East has ever been an oasis
For thought to flourish, philosophies to born
Thoughts profound blossomed
Where few or any men dwelt
Stillness in mind mirror
What lies beyond our grasp
Minds so little, hold to the faith
Not to reason to be their guide
Falling to the same abyss, once more
Even the finest pillars, shattered
As vast as the faults grew
Doctrines buried beneath shrines
Rituals! idols! behold the religion
