Forefathers toiled in fields and forests as labourers, to earn their bread.

Your parents worked hard in factories and workshops for your education,

To learn different technical skills, open up opportunities for suitable jobs!

We must work for a new world and make it happen for new generations?

You commemorate history of all struggles and gains made by our friends

Labour movements; sacrifices, strikes and boycotts to get our demands

For employment as your right; living wages, optimum work time, security,

Equal opportunities, women rights, benefits, Insurance, Health and safety!

Many rights achieved and started celebrating May Day since last century,

We celebrate Farmers Day, Labour Day, Workers Day in a fine spring day!
