Lousy Writing

Lousy Writing

I read a page and then I read some more,

If you don't write us together, I'll call you a bore.

We've just begun and you say you're done?

It's just lousy writing, if we don't end up as one.

See, the last page I read had us holding hands,

Let me give you a hint, now we walk the sunset sands.

And o what a pity if we don't have some fun,

It's just lousy writing if we don't end up as one.

The sun has set for a few weeks now,

It's now time we gazed at the night sky above.

Sleep can hide, but dreams can't run,

It's just lousy writing, if we don't end up as one.

Are you up to speed, we've spent a night gazing,

The star was a witness and the Gods were praising.

They heard us say 'I do' and now we've gotta kiss, hon,

It's just lousy writing if we don't end up as one.
