Lotus

A lotus, in its full bloom,
Is the symbol of mettle,
The resilience to rise up,
Despite the odds ahead.

The roots firm in the mud,
The pink beauty grows up,
Reminding us that triumph 
Is attained after hardships.

As buds bloom completely,
Into the wide-open petals,
The charisma they diffuse
Is literally quite magnificent.

Let us be like bloomed lotus,
And kick off from scratches,
Fight all the upcoming wars,
To be one steadfast stalwart.
