Roasted the rava brown

Fear in the mind, I did trounce.

Cut up with the divisions taking place

I sliced the onions, ginger and chilly in quick pace.

Orange of the carrot

Greens of the beans

Peas in good measure

Cabbages and the kings

Diversity, not just of ingredients.

Winter of discontent comes and goes

But ‘season'ing is a must,

With ghee, mustard, urad will do just.

Remember the salt of the satyagraha

Of our leaders for our swarajya.

With asafoetida a pinch

Arguments we can clinch.

Water of love in right proportion

Bring them to boil, not the tension.

Add leaves curry, don’t be in a hurry

The outcome looks like display of

Colors of national flag flying high

In taste and a toast to
