Colour, happiness, and joy

Bright lights are all ahoy!

People dressed in clothes fine

and food that is so divine


The festival of lights

makes the world ever so bright

Each house is adorned like a bride

and the green movement has turned the tide


A happy silence prevailed

As the lights in each house reveled

It was truly a green Diwali

A peaceful green Diwali
