Independence Day

Celebrating the Day of Independence,

We are indeed proud to be Indians,

Paying tribute to all our leaders,

 Reminiscing the sacrifices of freedom fighters,

India, a country rich in mythology,

Is a country known for its unity in diversity,

Adorning every house is the “Tiranga “,

A sacred land through which flows river Ganga,

Orange signifies sacrifice and bravery,

White stands for peace and honesty,

Blue for law and prosperity,

Green symbolizes faith and fertility,

With the fervor of patriotism, in high spirits,

On 15th August every year, we Indians,

Pompously celebrate the victory,

As India became an independent country.
