In The Classroom

Here I am in my classroom

Looking outside as the flowers bloom

And watching the bees make a nest

Working hard, doing their best.

When suddenly the teacher walks up to me

All the thoughts of the bee

Go away from my head

And someone whispers “Now you are dead”.

The teacher fires a question

About some blah…blah invention

I stared ahead at the wall blue

Knowing not what to say or do.

“Buzz buzz” I said like a bee, trying to be funny

The teacher stared in surprise, like a lost bunny

And said “Why you are right, wrong me

Television signals were inspired by the buzzing of a bee”!
