I'm Still The Same
I'm Still The Same

The world's gonna change
But I ain't changin'
Still livin' in the past
When life was goin'
Great guns
A thousand suns
That kept shinin'
On all those roads
Where I walked
On all on those ones
Who kept comin'
In my life
Oh the roads have changed
New ones been built
In the times that kept changin'
I chose to walk alone
In the the clouds that burst rainin'
Drove on the highways
Your picture on the dash
Stopped at those beaches
The waves kept comin'
Searched me
For a link to their past
A link to the souls
Torn apart
By love
Cozy afternoons
A drink by the moon
Our shadows that kept growin’
Throwin’ a shade
Your heart pacin’, afraid,
A night full of kissin’
And the mornin’ spent missin’
You..
Love kept comin’
Love kept
goin’
Roamin’ far away lands
Thru’ wide open sands
On tarred highways
By the seas that kept singin’
Our songs
Love was young and tender
Love was new and fresh
Love just kept growin’
We had somethin’ mature
Love, could it grow old?
In the changin’ times
I had to change
But I kept myself as I am
Thru’ winter and summer
Thru’ autumn and spring
Life’s gonna move on
To another ring
To new roads
New shores
New towns callin’
New faces callin’
My name
But I’m not changin’
I’m still the same…
