We often boast of our religion and respond blindly in fanaticism

Without knowing and following the religion, its sermons, or idealism

By birth, I’m a Hindu, but don’t know about the greatness of Hinduism

Neither, do I learn, nor practice the Vedic instructions or characterization

At least I have to follow the basic principles to introduce myself as a Hindu

My characteristics and behaviors should help me to identify self fits to

Hinduism prescribes some eternal duties, we should know and practice

Honesty, non-violence, patience, virtue, compassion, self-restraint, justice

The main theme of Hindu beliefs are kama, dharma, mokhsa, and artha

Passions, duties, liberation, and work; till alive, abide by the Purusartha

Does anybody escape these four Purusarthas; it seems nobody denies

Though I take moksha in a limited sense, i.e. death, does sure arise

‘Beyond the life cycle of death and rebirth,’ I don’t have any conception

The religions say, beyond it, when no rebirths happen, comes liberation

Hindu Religion is considered the oldest, Sanatana, from the prehistoric age

The Epics were, God’s voices only, written by no human writer or sage
