Gypsy Woman
Gypsy Woman
Settled at gypsy note
Like someone touched the strings of heart
I sank into my regression's life before life
It was a morning when the three oceans met,
People just watched the sunset and roused,
I was amidst the rock that stood still in the ocean,
And got off my uncle's hand....
She counted steps one two three
Her bangles clattered like rain drops
Her anklets are like the springs and falls
I saw myself. In that lost and panicked child's eyes ...a woman ...sailing on the waves
She said I am you ....
The seagulls flew, and the winds hailed raw
My uncle caught my little hand
I knew he could not see what I could
She said...I am you
When done...you shall be back old soul
I knew she wandered along the coast
I knew she never spoke a word
She healed she smiled she cared
And walked on, she never had an attire fit
People threw stones, some fed her
Some called her names
But when the full moon peaks
Celestial beings loomed near her
She had her pet dogs near her
They always followed her as tradition says so,
She was on the path very few did know, and she kept her fire on
They never knew her name
So, to call upon she uttered a word
Mai...they called her mother
She was just a mother....
She just walked down and up the lanes
Fed the stray beings, cattle, dogs
Insane souls and never bothered of her
Past life regression got over...
Hey gypsy woman she...called me
I lay staring at her and the amber light
That filled in that small room
The ritual came to an end, I sat up
My arms in gypsy soul's hand
She said oh wanderer, just not fret
You are one of the rest...
Who walks the path, don't you know the rest,
You just keep doing things it is all
What is best ...go on and on
I said...I am so lost sister
I said...I do things which I have guides who don't exist in the flesh
I said ...I am weird I don't fit in, I am different, I am so out of the box
I don't keep the pets, oh I fear the dogs
I don't keep the fire, I am a loner
I find no tribe
Before she walked away, she told me
The fire is in your soul, you kindle it every day the way you chant the way you stretch and strengthen the spine you keep the channels open girl ...you raised the serpent took it to the lotus and did its job so fair and, your guides are pleased
You honor them, you glorify the gene
What thou hast to fear
You walk with packs and love your wolves
Don't you lie my girl it is unfair
She snapped her finger and told me
You know your crystals
You know your options
You are theirs who know their circle
They hold their hands around you ...
East and West blended lot I am
A gypsy soul, a hippie, an old, wanderer, a poet a mystic a mad woman if you must you can...call
I walk the path ...the path that leads ...
Some not all....
My wounds and my scars are my trophies
