Atheists say god is no where.
Theists say god is now here.
Scientists say it's all matter.
Quantum theorists say it's all energy.
People, animals, plants, trees, mountains,
And rivers are what we really see.
But I have seen god,
Not just one but many.
Little girl of around eight,
Seated in a crowded bus at eight,
Surrounded by her friends more than eight,
Gets up suddenly not to get down,
But to let an old man of eighty to sit!
There I see a goddess of love.
Young man of around twenty-six,
Leaves home to office fifteen past six,
Stops his bike and waits at cross six,
Not for his friend or girlfriend,
Waves at an old woman past sixty,
Who walks with a vegetable basket on head,
With merry smile hops she on his bike,
To the market to sell en-route to his office.
There I see a god of faith.
Young girl of around twenty-one,
Stops at the stationery numbered one,
Comes out with the notebooks of dozen,
Signals she at the kids in bus-stop,
Come the kids - she gave each 2 notebooks and a pen.
There I see a goddess of hope.
Man of around thirty-two,
Sitting in a restaurant with friends two,
Spoke more than what he came to,
Started coughing unstoppably owing to wind-food pipes mess-up,
Tapped his head mildly an old woman
Fed him water from his glass,
Speak not when eat said she,
Went to clean table beside his!
There I see a goddess of wisdom.
There are gods everywhere,
For they live in humans;
See what is good in people,
And that's how one can see the gods!
There are gods everywhere.
