A Day Of My Life

Woke up when my mother woke me up,

Tea cup in my left hand, mobile on the other hand!

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn,

Lost the time immersing myself in!

As the battery is down to five percent,

Putting my mobile on charge,

Tea was amazing, said I grinning,

It was coffee, said she walking.

Turned on the TV while munching my breakfast,

Public interest promotes energy saving,

E-commerce website promotes to waste electricity,

And get cash-back, that’s just petty!

Drove my car while the sun shone bright,

Cursed the traffic policemen and bikers,

For I am running late to my office.

And that doesn’t make any sense!

My colleague was honoured,

For the work he had performed,

Applauded I, with my other colleagues,

Envying secretly in all my senses!

Rushed back home just to get back online,

Surfed I again aimlessly,
