Tis folly of the wise,
To be so wise and yet unhappy
Tis the wisdom of the fool,
To be a fool and yet joyous
Where to place my happiness and solace?
Longing for happiness, I was still a fool
Becoming wise, I understand just a slightly better
Is it in the past that I find an answer
Or could it lie in the dreams of the future ahead?
No longer can I remain a fool
Neither for you or for us
No longer can I deny my reason
When I have broken barriers and emerged stronger
Tis the folly of the fool to remain ignorant of the strength inside
Tis the fortune of the wise to perceive before a manifestation
I am both
A fool for my relentless pursuit of dreams
A wise for the forgiveness of my past
