Favorite Hiding Place

How can I accommodate,

The new songs of my feelings,

There is no music left in me,

As you took leave,

I lost my favourite hiding place,

Times have changed,

No need to search for the warmth in hugs,

As hugs don't exist anymore,

All I got is an ample amount of time,

They kept changing names of this pandemic,

I don't even change your name on my bathroom walls,

Our gasps are still fresh,

So I don't wash the bedsheets,

I do accept you are not going to come back,

But,

I am not happy with the fact,

Which says I have to live alone.
