Court - My Innocence
Court - My Innocence

O' the resplendent moon,
Why are you so silent?
Why aren't you restricting,
That beauty's swing from
The dry branches?
Her life is at stake,
And you are silent,
I know you want your competitor
To meet the end,
And you will remain,
As the most enviable beauty
Of the universe.
I know she is exasperated with me,
How will I elucidate that,
I am not an adulterer?
How will I explain
That I love her madly?
O' the moon,
She is out of my reach,
Save her with your power
Else I will be a widower,
And I will not spare you,
You will be summoned to the court where both of us will be convicted.
