Chilren's Play
Chilren's Play
Strawberry, strawberry chip chip chip
Strawberry strawberry magic
From when did this become the start
Of a toss, too often, too tragic
When I hit a little girl's world,
I did not search for innocence
Nor I sought playfulness, I was just
Searching a momentary solace
I would have judged their lines,
On the lines of morality, I had learnt
But I could not understand them
Only find memories, now burnt.
Pushed under a scrutiny of society
Which grows tough as I age,
I have only learnt to get offended
Yet hide away my rage.
In two little girls, I dreamt
A world of wordless emotions
But I still am stranded on my own
Moral road, seeking directions.
