Chains
Chains

The chains that bound me
Cut into me,
Holding me, trapping me
Shatter them I will,
Scattering them into the four winds
As the dust swirls around and around,
I will let out my angry roar,
Rumbling from the dark depths of hell
Where they threw me into
Those who dare imprison me will run,
Helter-skelter for shelter.
The sea shall storm,
The mountains will shake
As my fury erupts once more onto the brown earth.
Their false idols shall fall,
Their cities will be dust,
Forgotten shall be their immortal works
And as they lie in front of me,
Begging for nonexistent forgiveness,
My claws shall scrape their iron thrones, discarded and broken.
