Reading a book gives us a lot of knowledge and power 

It's rightly said, don't judge a book by its cover

A book can give us an experience of a lifetime 

Some do read books just for some past time.

A book once read can certainly leave a mark 

Many write and publish books to make a fast buck

A book has the ability to take us to places 

Books also at times help to solve cases 

Friends, do read books as much as you'll can

We need to understand that nothing is mightier than the pen

A book can be a friend, when lonely and stressed 

Book will bail you out when you're life is all messed 

A library full of books is worth more than gold 

Surely I don't think this needs to be told

Book is and will always be something to be treasured 

Many of us say that books give them a lot of pleasure 

A book read will leave an imprint on your mind 

Good books at times are very difficult to find 

My message to you all is read as many books 

For books will certainly change your outlook 

We often hear elders reminiscing, about books they had read

Long stories, suspense and thrillers ,books their minds fed

Reading is the best form of recreation 

Books give us a lot of inspiration.
