And then it’s another day,

When he tries to chirp and sing along in every way,

Golden cage studded with gems, eat as you wish and live without a care

But the food will be mine and your smiles for me alone,

And if I feel like it, I will fling and hurt you too 

You can cry as much as you want, for no one will free you here 

It’s a cage of forever and you can do no more 

You try to see if you can see the sky,

Your gaze is shrouded for tears sit on its side 

You try to speak, but you cannot say much for You are forbidden to

Your fledglings tell you it’s alright, 

You have come to believe it’s alright,

It will end someday with the sun sinking in the ocean someway

The body and soul are already scarred 

What is left to save and be marred 

You look still at the lost sky 

Will death release to touch your sky?
