An Empty House
An Empty House
He is an angel,
Fallen from grace.
Bearing all the pain,
With a smile on his face.
She is a beautiful flower,
That brings smile to everyone's face.
She cries silently at nights,
Won't bother you with her worries.
She is afraid of being in anyone's way,
A flower that slowly withered away.
He is quite prideful,
Don't want to be a laughing fool.
He won't say a word unless needed,
He is fine silently watching from the sidelines.
If only for once,
She raised her voice.
If only for once,
He spilled his secrets,
And didn't try to hide.
She died in silence,
While his eyes were blinded by pride,
In the same house,
The distance was quite long and Wide.
They were perfect for each other,
Still a stranger to one another.
