An Arduous Journey

As the jam packed train jolted forward,

The boy nudged the people and in you go was his plea.

The train lurched and wobbled at every twists and turn,

The hand dampened out of dread as he still hung outward.

He still struggled to clench but the stamina began to flee,

Perspiring he desperately cajoled only to find no concern.

The people he thought so heartless; their disposition so forward,

He solemnly sighed to God in a whisper and right then was full of glee.

For the train had hit the platform giving a respite from the horrendous sojourn!
