Adventure Of My Past

Memories are sweet,

Memories are sour.

When I look back at my life,

There's a long way to cross.

When I saw my old album,

I was in utter shock

The child with a cheeky grin was me of course.

But my admiring hadn't stopped here,

When I saw that photo in the album near

My jaw dropped to the ground in surprise

Cause'the lady in the red gown was my mother from 1995

The man standing by with a cheeky grin was my father for sure.

When I look at myself today,

I realize so much has changed,

If I was granted a wish today,

I would like to go back to my childhood place.
