A Wake Up Call By Nature

The crisis looming large,

That into our lives barge,

Will have its intensity discharged.

The faces that grin today,

However greedy and gay, 

Will certainly fade away.

The radiant sun so bold,

Will have its energy sold,

And have its tale to be told.

Every star twinkling bright,

That catches a wandering eye's sight,

Will meet its unpredictable plight.

Mother Earth, so rich and vast,

Moving on its orbit so fast,

Beware! For it won't forever last.

The overflowing rivers, the insurmountable tides,

We think won't be cornered to the sides,

Will once be void and dried.

For every soul in space,

It Will have run out of its pace,

With nothing left to chase.

Amidst all such mayhem,

Rose a soul, no one condemned,

Like God's own Diadem,

"Kindness and Compassion is all that we now need,

Why ain't we humans paying it any heart-felt heed,

And reluctant to pay for our dreary deeds."

"We are mere GUESTS here, NOT Mighty MASTERS!

Have turned into Shameless Blasters,

And the Igniters of Deadly Disasters."

"Wake up from your open-eyed Sleep,

Let the dead no more pile up as a Heap,

Every then and now, the planet gives a blaring Beep."

"With folded hands, I earnestly plead,

Stop the slaughter and Let Earth no more bleed,

There's space for Our needs and not Greed."

Let us become her innocent children again,

Get rid of this emptiness and pathetic pain,

And not let our lives go in utter vain.
