A Special Sleepless Night

So, finally, I was not 'down' by nature

For five years, I was a fretful creature.

"I'll take the test tomorrow", said I

The whole night, I prayed and cried.

As everybody thinks, I am sterile

Yesterday I spent a sleepless night on my carrel

Social pressure to prove myself,

My every move was full of stealth.

5 years spent like exile

Lots of struggle and taunts banged meanwhile.
