A New Life!!!

Last year our Christmas gift came in late

But trust me it was definitely worth the wait

Two little angels with tiny fingers and tender cheeks

Were bundled up for us with the strokes carrying them in their beaks

 

You looked at us with the most innocent eyes

 And you made us jump when we heard your cries

It's fun to see you learn new things

And see you flash ur toothy grin when your toy sings

 How days changed to months and a year we have no clue

Lost in ur Mischief and antics time definitely flew

 

At times I worry that you're growing up too soon

And wonder if you would still want to hear about the sun and the moon

But when I see you try your first steps towards me

My heart smiles and I know that's how things ought to be.

 

 As you turn one my babies, I thank the Lord above
