A Dawn For Peace
A Dawn For Peace
The mist, the fog and the serenity;
The green grass soft as velvet.
The sky was above last night;
Now the doves too are waiting.
The swing was synchronising the merriment;
Now it hangs motionless, white crystals cloaked its rust.
A few homestead billowing smoke;
Dawn brought forth culinary necessities.
Thumping steps are waiting to tread the cobblestones.
Few tender souls rush to meet the townsfolk.
The commotion unleashes the hawk among the pigeons.
‘Peace’ ! It is peaceful here! Exclaimed the slanger.
The young hearts retreat at the weird behaviour of the guests;
Wondering the deprivation! Is it Food, Clothing or Shelter?
