A BLAZING SOUL
A BLAZING SOUL
As far as my eyes can see,
The blood of the elite feast on me,
I am nothing but the voice of a poor soul,
Dying every day; to survive in this rat hole,
Refrained from voicing my opinion; held back for no reason,
I live naked on the streets; rotting to death; every season,
I do not live at the cost of your life,
But I pay you with my blood, dying every day to survive,
In return, you suck my soul dry,
Stabbing me till I bleed; stabbing me till I cry,
For I die today; many may die like me,
None that you care for, none you shall see,
But we suffer for your deeds,
Living like the rocks by the shore; being thrashed by the sea,
stify">You may never notice the pain we face,
Might never realize what you have done,
Blinded by your ego, you will remain the same,
Making us run a race; that can never be won,
What would I not give, to live without fear,
For until that happens, I know I will tear,
Our hunger, our cry, our agony, our death,
Increasing by the night,
Your power, your pride, your ego,
Rising knowing no limits, sees my sight,
I think; I question; would god ever forgive you?
For all that you have done,
I turn back, look around,
Blazing souls like that of mine; I see,
We have no savior; I know!
God left this place a long time ago.
