RULES:

1. The contest is open to all students currently studying in class 4 to class 12 in any school in India.
2. The contest is also open to all teachers.
3. Participants need to submit stories, poems or quotes that are their original works. Articles, essays, etc. are not allowed.
4. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be submitted. Participants can submit as many of their creations (i.e, stories, poems, quotes or all) and those can be in languages prescribed for the contest viz, English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
5. The Contest should not be used for promotion of business and/or any commercial solicitation by the Participant(s).
6. The Participants are requested to not submit / post any spam, foul, indecent, threatening, discriminatory, vulgar and/or any such content which is against public morality, as the same may lead to disqualification. Such decision of disqualification shall be at the sole discretion of StoryMirror.
7. The content of all entries submitted is at the sole liability of each Participant. By submitting entries, each Participant(s) represents and assures that all entries are their original works and no copyright, trademark and/or any other intellectual property rights have been infringed / violated.
8. The Participant(s) agrees and consents to indemnify StoryMirror for any intellectual property rights infringement claim related to or arising out of the entries submitted by them and use of the same by StoryMirror & their affiliates thereof.
9. All the submissions are to be made only on the contest link – https://contest.storymirror.com/sswc2019. Any submission made over email or as hard copy or without using the contest link will not be eligible for competition.
10. The Participant(s) hereby grants exclusive license to use any content and images in the entry including right of reproduction, in any format, with/without modifications to StoryMirror, sponsors of SSWC 2019,  its affiliates and/or any representative of StoryMirror.
11. Participants agree that personal information may be processed, shared and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the contest and any other purposes outlined in these clauses. The data may also be used by StoryMirror in order to verify the participant's identity, postal address, and telephone number or to otherwise verify the participant's eligibility to participate in the contest.
12. The participants agree and allow that all the entries submitted under the competition will be posted on the FICCI-ILIA website for community use and development and will be available as a free resource.
13. In case of any dispute or difference in respect of the Contest, the decision of StoryMirror shall be final and binding.
14. The general terms & conditions of StoryMirror as prescribed on https://storymirror.com/terms-and-conditions is part of this contest.
15. All the prizes from partners / sponsors of the competition are at the sole discretion of the partner's / sponsor's brand and StoryMirror will have no liability for the same. The fulfillment / usage of such prizes will be subject to respective terms and conditions of the partners / sponsors. 
16. Content once submitted under the competition can not be withdrawn at any stage and shall not be removed from StoryMirror / FICCI-ILIA website once it is published.

Terms & Conditions for School Prizes:

• Blogs: StoryMirror will feature blogs around School Principal and School highlighting their participation in a unique literary competition.

• Gift of knowledge: Free books will be given to the school for their library. These will be books published by StoryMirror. A list will be provided to the school from where they can choose the books.

• E-book / Book: Basis the content shortlisted by StoryMirror’s editorial team and reader’s engagement (Likes / Comments / Ratings) on the content, e-book / physical book will be compiled. 

• The book will have only stories & poems in multiple languages from the top selective entries received by respective school students. Quotes can be included on selective basis.

• In case of paperback book, 10 free copies will be provided. More copies can be provided on cost basis.
