The moon,

A beautiful creation.

Shedding light on the Earth

Without any hesitation.

It's hanging in the sky,

Like a jewel on a bride, 

Without any problems or pride.

It's dents and craters,

Like scars on its body,

Don't make it bow with shame.

It rather holds itself high,

Not giving a damn about the haters.

Be like the moon,

So mystical and pure

Yet so strong and sure.

It knows no shame,

It doesn't work for fame.

Never affected,

Guardian of the neglected.
