Time Sense

Susheel was going over and over again in his mind, through the incidence that happened today morning. He was at home because of lock down due to pandemic and at that time was playing a video game. His father’s anger knew no bounds and he reprimanded the boy on his wasting of precious time without concentrating on his studies.

The incidence triggered many thoughts in Susheel’s mind. He was a responsible kid aiming at getting good scores in coming board exams, but the whole schedule of studies was disrupted due to online classes and often he found himself distracted. He could also sense his dad’s fears and anxiety.

To regain his calm and composure, he was casually browsing the internet for quotes on time and its management. He found the whole process very refreshing and inspiring. He chose some of the quotes he liked and found relevant to him and decided to design a guideline which will give him direction for his future and progress:

He wrote a note,” Sorry dad for hurting you with my carelessness. I have decided that I will be the pilot of my time and take care of every moment, by keep going doing what ever is best for me and choosing to do something that will make you proud. Thank you for cautioning me.I also thank the individuals whose quotes have given me inspiration”.

In the evening , Susheel silently handed over the note to his Dad, who was surprised and read it. His joy had no bounds and he hugged his son tightly and knew that there will be no looking back for his son and he will not give his Dad another chance to reprimand him.
