Can I Please Be Different?

A house.

A car.

A partner.

Extra cash in the bank.

Life insurance.

Two children, not less not more.

Since when did life become

One boring and dreary checklist?

If I want a house, I'll just rent one, thanks.

If I want a car, I'll rent that too, thanks. (and public transport rocks, I contend)

Extra cash is not a necessity unless you're debt-ridden.

So what if I spend most of the money on the things I truly want?

And let others deviate, dear society.

As much as you can.

Find.

Focus on what you find.

And get lost in-

This big, beautiful and dynamic World again.

Disentangle the plethora of thoughts

That attempt to rage war within.

While you're at it,

Write your story with your hands.

Do what feels right

When it feels right.

Raise the bars

Deepen the smiles.

Impact the lives-

One day at a time.

As for society's checklist;

Tell them that

They can throw it in the bin, just like their ignorance.
