I try to move my limbs and fail, because they are broken and shackled down to the weights of self-made rules and regulations of the so-called pristine society.

I try to raise my eyes up towards the lights of truth and they lash me with whips and sticks and force me to drag my eyes back down at their filth.


I try to speak out the words of my own and they pull out my tongue and lash me more for I am not supposed to speak anything other than the lies fabricated by them. 

I try to convey my feelings and fail miserably for I am long dead, and I mourn for myself but every now and then my soul - it hopes for the walk of love. 


As I prepare to say farewell to myself, my ears - they hear the cries of a new innocent soul being born and that of new shackles being forged for those little limbs so they don't crawl away to freedom .....
