I had visited several times, my place of birth, but every time I found something new, innovative which gives me immense pleasure.

I was born in a small town in Agra. It is a small campus area, with lush green fields, government quarters, orchards, and also a land of snakes and monitor lizards. Actually, one of my relatives still lives there, so whenever I visit them, I used to go and see my old house and tell my younger sister about it.

I lived in gov quarter no. 26. It was painted with yellow color from outside and green and blue inside. There were three rooms, a lobby, kitchen, also a garage-type room outside. Adequate space was outside the house along with the garden. In the backside, there was a pomegranate tree, on which a no. of parrots live.

The colony was good, well organized and we had all day buses to city, running backside of the colony. This small area was so nice and easily maintained. All the quarters were occupied by staff members and people who work there. Diwali and Holi was great fun. All the people celebrate it together. In the night, we visit everyone's home, greet them and eat lots of sweets. During Dashera, a huge Ravana was being made by some bhaiyas and elder people, in the middle of the colony. I used to go along with my grandma to see the Ravana burning. I used to got sacred on seeing a huge Ravana burning, yellow-orange flames coming out of him... The vegetation was so rich that I don't know how much time I and my school's best friend had spent playing with flowers, gardening, making utensils and different things with clay, etc, etc....In the evening, I used to go along with a grandma to the park or sometimes temple. I carry tiffin with one parantha, which I eat in the park and then play...It was great fun. When I visit my home, all these memories get revived as if it was a matter of yesterday... I miss all these childhood memories.....
