In the town of Agrabah, a girl named Sofia lived with her father. Her father died when she was 25 years old. Her mother passed away when she was a child.

The last words of Sofia's father were, "You're now grown up my child, you have to rule this kingdom. You are now the Sultan of Agrabah.The whole Agrabah is in your hands. Please don't let this kingdom to disintegrate into small cities."
