The Silence

Have you ever considered that when people, who are close to you, do wrong to you and choose to stay silent rather than apologizing for it, maybe they do not do so because they have an attitude problem, but because they do not know how to make up for it.

Maybe it's not that they think they are better to ask for your forgiveness, but because they do not know how to ask for it. Perhaps, they think that they have screwed up so bad that you wouldn't want to talk to them again. And you may believe that if they are close to you, they would know you pretty well to understand that you'll listen to their part.

But it's not easy to talk to someone whom you cherished and then wronged. You can't face them in your own guilt and you choose to remain silent.
