Once upon a time, there was a very rich man who was very selfish. He was very proud of the wealth he owned. He didn’t give anything not even water to other needy people. Everybody used to hate him.

One day, a beggar came to the rich man and asked for food. But the man refused. Then the beggar asked for milk or water. However, the rich man still refused.

At last, the beggar said to the man,”Son, there is no use of your wealth if you can’t even give an beggar bread. Yesterday, I received an big loaf of bread. But then when I was walking, I saw some beggars who were looking hungry and gave them the bread at once. I didn’t eat anything yesterday. But got a sound sleep. Actually, I am richer than you, son!”

The rich man realised his mistake and felt ashamed. He then gave the beggar some food. From that day onwards, the rich man gave away his selfishness and started helping the poor and needy with empathy. Now on, everyone started loving him for his generosity.
