The Result Day

3 August, 2021....I woke up early in the morning and followed the same routine. I had no expectations that it was going be such a big and memorable day of my life. 

At 5:50 in the morning, my alarm rang and then my mom gave me a final wake up call. Waking up early in the morning is the most tedious task for me but unwillingly, I had to wake up as I had my Chemistry tuition at 6 am. I rushed into the washroom and changed my clothes. That morning, I was really sleepy. I almost slept in that boring lecture of 2 hours and came back home. As usual I was supposed to leave for my mathematics tuition at 10 but I didn't have any idea that I was just 2 hours away from a wonderful surprise. Exactly at 12, we were sitting at the centre when class 10 board exams results were declared. I was nervous. I started shivering and couldn't even type my roll no. properly. By the time I would calm myself down, my mom called my tutor and told him that I had scored 98.4%. I was annoyed. I expected far better results. At once I felt as if all the hardwork I had put in has been wasted.

But it's rightly said that we get fruitful results if we work hard. I was the school topper. I was overjoyed after knowing this. We went to school for the photograph and I felt like a VIP.

That day I realized that life presents great obstacles but at the end the results are always amazing. I know that class 10 results are not going to affect my life but I'm glad as I successfully cleared the first step. 

Next day I went to school to thank all of my teachers and to my astonishment, their reaction was totally unexpected. I never knew that the teachers who always seemed to rude and harsh, who always scolded me, had such a big, soft and tender heart with so much love and compassion. 

Some hugged me, some showered their blessings, some expressed their further expectations.......

I thank God for making me experience that moment, for making me stand on my parent's and teacher's expectations......
