The POT

Once there was a businessman named Shekhar. He loved to collect different types of things, mainly antique pieces. The whole village loved his collections. There are always some tourists and visitors at his home, to see all the collection. One day he brought a brass pot. It was very beautiful and had very beautiful designs drawn on it. It was very shiny. But...it was the pot of the king. The pot was the favourite of the king. Shekhar had sneaked the pot while he visited the palace. 

King ordered to soldiers to check the whole village. His minister asked him to whom last he met? But the king could not remember as a lot of people meet him all day.

Lastly a message and to the king that the pot was found at Shekhar's home. King arrived at shikhara home and started asking questions. King told him that he will be thrown in the prison. But Shekhar kept on saying that he found the pot. And then it was an argument between King and shekhar. Then the king had an idea. He asked him to answer what things he brought from where. He asked constantly without taking a break. Then he asked from where does he brought the shiny, brass pot? Shekhar mistakenly said, "from the palace". Shekhar was hesitant. King angrily asked," from which palace". Shekhar had no words. From that king knew that Shekhar was lying. He punished him for thieving and telling a lie to a king.
