The Mean King

Once upon a time, there lived a king. He was really mean. Nobody liked him because he didn’t care about his people. Because of him, there was hardly any malls and hospitals in the kingdom. He was also a big penny pincher. He never even thought to spend any money on his kingdom.

One day, a tragedy had struck the kingdom. The enemy kingdom attacked his kingdom.

Many of the people lost their lives while some were badly injured. Then an old kind man came to the king and said, “your majesty, kindly look at what is going on, so many people have lost their lives, so many people are injured, what if our prince was in this condition, would you do the same or do something?”

The king grew furious for a moment, but then he realised his mistake.

He thanked the man and was mean no more.

After that day, he spent half of his wealth on his kingdom. He built hospitals for the treatment of the injured people. He became very kind and everyone liked him. Everyone started living happily ever after.
