The Mango Kernels

One day, Akbar and Birbal were enjoying mangoes. Birbal was telling interesting stories to Akbar and hence the king was enjoying very much. They were eating the mangoes and were putting the seed of the mangoes under the table. Suddenly, Akbar had an idea of pulling Birbal's leg. Unnoticed by Birbal, he pushed his heap of seeds towards the heap of Birbal. Then he said, '' Oh God! Birbal I did not you love mangoes so much. I could never imagine that you could eat so many mangoes at one time. You are such a greedy man! ''

 He started laughing at Birbal. When Birbal looked at his heap, he was surprised. Then he saw on Akbar's side, he saw there were no seeds. He understood Akbar 's trick. Now Birbal said with a smile,'' Your Majesty, I like mangoes very much. But it seems you are greedier than me. I have just eaten the mangoes but you have eaten their seeds, as well.'' Akbar couldn't help laugh at Birbal's quick-wittedness.
