The Janitor

It was a usual day, but for Kumar it was one of the best day of his life. He had just been hired as the school janitor. He was excited to start work. He arrived two hours earlier to clean the entire school for the students. He didn't see that the students started to come in the school. Luckily he had finished all the cleaning and he wanted to greet every student. To his surprise everyone was really sweet to him except this one girl. Her black hair blocking her brown eyes. Her name was Aisha. He would have acknowledged that face anywhere. It was his old boss's daughter. He politely greeted her. As soon she saw him she burst out laughing and teasing him. He felt bad but he really needed this job so he soundlessly got back to work. 

A few weeks went by and Aisha had become really cruel to him. Whenever she used to see him, she would drop something and tell him to pick it up and throw it in the trashcan. He would feel really bad but he still let her walk all over him. Not before long it was the Labour day and everyone got Kumar something like a card or some cookies to thank him for all his efforts. To Kumar's surprise Aisha had gotten him something as well. He was excited to see what it could have been. It was a trashcan. Inside the trashcan was a note which stated that - 'trashcan because you are trash'. His pride was gone and he was genuinely hurt. 

The nest day he didn't show up to work. All the floors were dirty and the place was stinking because no one had taken the trash out. Everyone was blaming Aisha because she had treated Kumar poorly. She understood how hard his job was. After school she went to Kumar's house and expressed her regret. She said that she was sorry that she took him for granted but if it wasn't for labour, All his surroundings would be filthy.
