The Forest - Indulged Mind

I am a detective, my name is Stella. One Sunday morning, I was just chilling in my bed when I got a phone call from an unknown number. I answered "Hello, Stella speaking"

A very concerned female voice answered my reply saying "Yes ms Stella, I am Emma, the vice-principal of St Lord's Public Elementary School in Mandla, Madhya Pradesh. " I was a bit startled as I often get calls from clients should are generally business persons. I responded "Yes how may I help you? " She said that she would like me to come to Mandla tomorrow as her school's 5 children were lost in the Forest nearby. She said that filling a police report was of no use and would take a lot of time and they wanted to get the kids back as soon as possible. With no hesitation I agreed with the woman and took the earliest flight to Indore from there I rented a car and drove to Mandla. The vice-principal greeted me very warmly and I met the principal. I thought the principal liked animals as on her black coat multicoloured fur of cats and dogs could be seen. I shared this with the vice-principal and she confirmed my assumption by rectifying the fact. She complimented my skill of observation and then, Ms Emma, the principal another teacher called ms brown, and 2 police constables set off for the forest. In the deep forest, we stood at the spot where the children were last seen. While attempting to find them I noticed ms brown looking very pale and trying to hide something. I asked her If she was alright she did say that she was alright but her face said how hesitant she was regarding some issue. I sensed something fishy so when she made an excuse of searching for the children in some other corner I decided to follow her. I took my phone, and my revolver and went after her. I was following her but suddenly out of nowhere many leaves started to fall on me and I fell to the ground. I saw ms Brown getting away swiftly, As soon I was going to follow her I heard something coming out of the bush.

It was a giant bear! I decided to remain stable and stayed still on the ground and did not dare to move. The bear sniffed a part of me and left assuming I was a dead body. I rushed to follow ms Brown and saw her and Mrs Emma together talking with each other. Mrs Emma revealed that they had hid the children in a cave and were planning on selling them for a lot of money. Their plan was to keep the principal and the police, distracted and after a while, their hired kidnappers would abduct us too in a few hours. I Intruded between them, pointing my revolver at them. They froze, I called the principal and got them arrested and Demanded them to guide us to the children. Suddenly screaming of children could be heard. We followed the sound and saved the children.
